Wire hair fox terriers have a crisp double coat.
The smooth fox terrier and the wire fox terrier were both breeds that originated in the 19th century. The terrier of this period was short of leg, chunky and bred for their ability to drive a fox out of its den. As the hunt pace became faster they were bred with longer legs, but that meant that they could no longer fit down fox holes and their purposeful breeding for use in fox hunting began to decline.
Jess's bark is loud. She enjoys less of a hunting life, more lap leisure and treats.

Bromley : A giant anteater who once lived at London Zoo
Bromley the Giant Anteater is a commission for somebody who once adopted Bromley through the London Zoo adopt-an-animal scheme and now needs a portrait of him for their home as a reminder of his brilliance!

Charlie and Alfie

These brothers live at Cooper's Natural Foods - a cafe and shop down Lower Marsh street Waterloo. They eat well. Charlie likes rocket and broccoli and Alfie chases sugar sachets across the floor in a furry swoooosh. They go mental over the pigeons from the safety of their window seat and I like the fact that their owner refers to them both as 'my son'.

Inscriptions
At the base of your portrait I can now draw a simple or ornate box to inscribe the name of the pet, short description, or other such details.
Vintage Frames
It can be difficult to find stylish new frames. The portraits can be made to fit a particular frame in mind, or one from our new stock of vintage frames so that the portrait sits within a sheet of paper that fills the frame, removing the need for a separate mount.
Hounds Of Love
A Berlin-based pair of dog-owning artists have opened a new design studio called Hounds Of Love where they create hand made pet accessories. The online shop can be found here: http://www.houndsoflove.net

The Poodle
One of the most amazing dogs! The word 'poodle' comes from the german 'pudel', meaning to splash in water.

Texture ranges from coarse and woolly to soft and wavy.
If you're ever in Hamburg pay a visit to the Golden Pudel Club near the Fantasy Park and the river... the place is dark and warm with lots of all night dancing dawgs.

Janine - loves pork chops!
Most recent poser for me - Janine - I am told has pork chops and sometimes apple crumble as a treat!

We drew her in blue and then printed her in black.

How To Wash A Dog
1. Prepare all the utensils and towels for the job e.g. towels shampoo brush
2. Find your dog
3. Brush the dog's coat - this relaxes the dog
4. Check for parasites or skin conditions - they often like to hide in ears
5. Get your dog's coat nice and wet, then apply the shampoo
6. Wash the face three times - concentrate on the areas below their eyes, jowels/whiskers, and under the chin since this is an area where eye secretions and food can generate much of a dog's odour
7. Keep the shampoo on your dog for as long as the bottle calls for
8. Rinse your dog until the water from his fur runs clear, and then rinse one more time
9. Get a small or big towel, lay it over your dog's back, and rub your dog dry; make sure you dry the inside of his ears also (however, no matter how much you dry a dog off, he will still insist on shaking water all over you)

'Bigpuss'

I am named after the cat Bigpuss, whose name used to be Laura until a week after I was born. During these seven days my ma and pa had a brain-block and found that the black and white cat had what they were looking for. To avoid any confusion of me thinking that I could be a cat during my childhood years, they had to find a new name for this cat, and came up with the brilliant nombre : 'Bigpuss'.

Charlie & Gilly

Charlie and Gilly work together in the woods somewhere in the UK felling and moving tree trunks along with a group of other tough ponies. Charlie likes Gilly the best. They use an age old way of forest management that, with the use of the ponies, eliminates the need to clear trees for the building of a road. They are pretty special as this is rare for such care and effort to be exerted over the management of British woodland.
